<B>1924-S $20 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> Another high quality survivor of this once-rare San Francisco issue. Nearly all of the 1924-S Saints that remained in the United States until the following decade fell victim to the mass melting of the 1930s. Only those that made it across the Atlantic Ocean prior to that time slipped past the recall. This boldly struck example is satiny with a soft, frosted finish on the devices. A thin veil of mottled patina is limited to the obverse while appealing lemon-yellow accents are most noticeable on the reverse.
