<B>1924<img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10>$1> MS67 NGC.</B></I> The tawny-gold toning is light on the obverse and more apparent on the reverse. Cartwheel sheen is vigorous, and the devices are intricately impressed. Any incompleteness of strike is limited to a few obverse peripheral letters. Rotation beneath a light locates only a few faint luster grazes on either side. Moderate mint-made die wear lends an interesting 'orange peel' texture. A desirable example of this popular issue, which is less available than the common 1922 and 1923. Census: 49 in 67, 0 finer (9/06).
