Commemorative Silver 1924 Huguenot. PCGS graded Mint State 65. <b>Brilliant snow white originality and gem quality surfaces, a well struck example of this early Commemorative issue. One of the earlier, more attractive U.S. Commemoratives, the Huguenot was designed by George T. Morgan (Morgan Silver Dollar) with assistance of James Earle Fraser (who also did the Buffalo Nickel). The obverse portrays conjoined busts of Admiral Gaspard de Coligny and Willem I, Prince of Orange. For the reverse, the artists depicted the New Netherland bound for America. The M on Coligny's shoulder is Morgan's initial, Morgan having prepared the original dies. The Philadelphia Mint struck a total of 142,000 Huguenots. The issue was sold to the public at $1; however, the 55,000 that remained unsold afterwards were released into circulation, thus accounting for the number of worn specimens of this type.</b> <p align="center">Superior Galleries was founded in 1929 and has been a leader in
