<B>1924-D 25C MS67 Full Head ANACS.</B></I> The 1924-D is scarce in Full Head, especially in MS65 and higher grades. Moreover, many examples of this date come weakly struck in other areas, particularly around the date and rivets on the shield (J.H. Cline, <I>Standing Liberty Quarters</B></I>). <BR> The Superb Gem Full Head example in this lot was subjected to an attentive strike throughout. In addition to the Full Head, strong definition is visible on the date digits, mintmark, chain mail, and stripes of the inner shield. A couple of rivets near the mid-section are soft. Lustrous surfaces display a splash of olive-green and red patina at the right obverse border, and a thin veneer of light tan-beige and powder-blue color on the reverse.
