1924-D $20 MS64 PCGS. Although more than 3 million of these coins were originally produced, few were exported and most of those that remained in the U.S. were melted during the mid and late 1930s. A few were obtained by coin collectors, and have remained in numismatic circulation since the 1920s. Others were sent overseas, and have recently returned to this country, although the number of such pieces is quite small. This example is a richly lustrous near-Gem specimen with deep yellow and orange gold color. The surfaces have a few trivial marks that limit the grade, but the overall eye appeal is excellent. PCGS has only graded eight finer examples of the date (4/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
