<B>1924-D $20 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> Though Mint records list an official production of over 3 million pieces for the 1924-D double eagle, only a tiny fraction survive today. Most never left the country and were melted in 1933. This well-defined example offers pleasing eye appeal.
