1924 50C Huguenot MS67 NGC. Though the two men depicted on the obverse of the Huguenot half died long before the settlement of New Netherland, both Admiral de Coligny and William the Silent were chosen for their roles as martyrs for the cause of religious tolerance. This strongly lustrous, solidly struck piece has a thin wash of lemon-gold patina overall with dabs of violet color at the margins. Neither NGC nor PCGS has certified a numerically finer example (6/07).
From The Frank DuVall Collection of U.S. Commemoratives.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information\)
