1924 $20 MS67 PCGS. The 1924 double eagle, with a mintage of over 4 million pieces, is believed to be the most common of the entire series. Tens of thousands of Uncirculated specimens have been certified by PCGS and NGC; indeed, more than 10,000 coins have been graded MS66! A significant demarcation occurs in the population between MS66 and MS67, however, as fewer than 200 pieces have been assigned the latter grade, and a mere two coins finer! A pretty blend of apricot-gold and mint-green adorns highly lustrous surfaces on this Superb Gem, and the strike has been powerfully executed. Both sides have been impeccably preserved. Population: 72 in 67, 1 finer (12/06).
From The Matt & Susan Brown Family Collection of Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
