1923 Yankee Stadium Seat. As the fabled House that Ruth Built is slated for demolition following the 2008 season, smart investors are putting their money into stadium artifacts with the well-reasoned expectation that prices will surge when the wrecking ball strikes. So consider this expertly restored seat that was a witness to the glories of Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio and Mantle, whose number "7" is announced on the upper slat. An attractive brass plaque with an image of the park is affixed below. A small piece of one of the chair's feet is missing, but the stability is not affected. With the rust, chipping paint and typical wobble found in unrestored examples all skillfully eliminated, this is a seat you could actually use as you watch the Yanks on your home television.

Shipping: Miscellaneous Collectibles, Larg (view shipping information)
