<B>1923-S<50C> Monroe MS65 PCGS.</B></I> Examples of the Monroe half dollar are seldom encountered with any degree of aesthetic appeal, therefore making this a particularly desirable Gem. It has frosty luster on both sides with predominantly brilliant silver surfaces. Traces of faint gold color are mostly evident near the borders. Few finer examples of this issue have been certified, just 50 by PCGS (9/06).
