<B>1923 S$1 MS64 NGC.</B></I> VAM-1A, Top 50. A prominent die break is visible on the juncture of Liberty's jaw and neck on this so-called "Whiskers Jaw" variety. There is also a light crack that emerges from the back of Liberty's hair that extends into the field beneath the Y in LIBERTY. This near-Gem specimen displays highly lustrous, silvery-gray surfaces that are imbued with traces of light tan. Relatively strong definition is noted on the design features.
