1923-D $20 MS66 PCGS. After a nine-year hiatus, double eagle production at Denver resumed in 1923, and the resultant output of over 1.7 million pieces set a new record for that Mint and denomination (though the 1924-D had a higher mintage still). The wheat-gold surfaces of this lustrous representative are laced with orange, and the devices are solidly impressed. A degree of milky toning, a feature often associated with long-term storage overseas, is present at the upper obverse and left reverse periphery.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
