<B>1923 5C MS67 PCGS.</B></I> Any coin graded MS67 will certainly have strength of strike factored into the grade. That is the case with this piece also, which shows complete definition on both obverse and reverse, including a full split in the bison's tail. This is not always the case, even though this a Philadelphia coin. As Lange states in his third edition: "Examples having adequate strikes do turn up, but fully struck pieces are rare." In addition to the full strike, this piece also displays uncommonly bright mint luster.
