Punch Broadbent is one of early hockey's greatest legends. He was an early version of the power forward combining productive scoring with a hard-nosed, pugnacious style. In 1914, for example, he scored 24 goals in 20 games while racking up 115 penalty minutes. He won 4 Stanley Cups, led the NHL in scoring in 1922, and was elected to the HOF in 1962. This card from the V145-1 Paterson's issue is graded a solid 3 VG by PSA. Pre-WWII hockey cards were printed in very small quantities as evidenced by the fact there are only 48 V145-1 Broadbent cards in their entire database, this is 1 of 6, with 28 graded higher.

No bidder shall retract their bid. In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, the auctioneer, at his sole discretion may put the lot up for resale to the highest bidder.
A bidder is deemed to have accepted an item when making a bid.
The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the time of sale of such lot.
The auctioneer reserves the right not to accept any bid which is only a partial advance over the preceding bid.
The auctioneer may break down or consolidate any lot or lots at his sole discretion.
Galaxy Auctions Canada assumes no responsibility for any liability once a bid is accepted.
Products are sold "as is, where is" and there shall be no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature.
Catalogue is prepared only as a guide. No sale shall be invalidated by any reason or defect or inaccuracy of description in catalogue or otherwise, and no liability shall be borne by the auctioneers by virtue of any such fault or error.

The winning bidder is not entitled to possession until all items have been paid for in full.
In the event that the purchase prices are not paid within 72 hours (unless email arrangements are made), the auctioneer shall have the right to resell such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser.
All costs and responsibilities of removal shall be borne by the winner bidder within the time prescribed by the auctioneer.
The winning bidder hereby indemnifies the auctioneer and the vendor against any and all damages arising from the dismantling and removal of any lots.
Any lots not removed within the prescribed time shall be deemed as abandoned. The auctioneer shall have the right to resell or dispose of such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser.
If for any reason, Galaxy Auctions Canada is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of Galaxy Auctions Canada shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot.
It is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder to remove their items within the prescribed time.
Galaxy Auctions Canada is not responsible for shipping Carrier's lost or damaged items.
Shipping is calculated and included in the initial invoice sent 24 hours (or less) after the auction closes. Credit cards on file will be charged 48 hours after the auction closes, unless alternative payment is confirmed prior by email.
