1923 $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1923 double eagle suffered from the mass meltings of the 1930s, but a large number survived in overseas hoards. Pieces through near-Gem are thus easily obtainable. MS65 coins are more challenging, and anything finer is extremely rare. This lustrous Gem displays a blend of peach-gold, red, and light green. A well directed strike emboldens the design elements, and a handful of minute marks limit the grade.

Coin Engraver: Augustus Saint-Gaudens

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information\)
