<B>1923 $20 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The 1923 double eagle is a common date, the result of many surviving in overseas hoards. Several thousand coins have been seen by PCGS and NGC through near-Gem, and almost 400 MS65 examples have been graded (3/07). The 1923 is virtually unobtainable any finer. Bright peach-gold luster adorns both sides of this sharply struck Gem.
