1922-S $20 MS64 PCGS. Along with generous portions of scintillating mint luster, the alluring lime-green and orange-apricot coloration is a noteworthy attribute of this San Francisco Mint product. With most of the design elements sharply defined, save for Liberty's branch hand and a few others, some interesting features of the coin include a wire rim around most of the reverse and several die chips that appear harmlessly on the lower reverse field area beneath the eagle's breast. The bright surfaces are typically marked for the grade. This issue is scarce at the near-Gem level, and rare any finer (12/06).
From The Matt & Susan Brown Family Collection of Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
