<B>1922 No D 1C Strong Reverse XF45 PCGS.</B></I> FS-013.2. Die Pair 2. In a February 21, 1994 issue of <I>Coin World,</B></I> staff writer Keith Zaner, discussing the three die pairs of 1922 No D cent, wrote: "Die Pair 2 will show no trace of the D mintmark at all. It has a strong strike on the reverse. On the obverse, all the letters in TRUST are sharper than the other letters of the motto. WE of the motto is just slightly mushy. This is the variety with the most value ... ." The current Choice XF example displays pleasing even medium brown color, and there are no serious marks on either side.
