Among the most significant errors in the entire Lincoln cent series, the 1922 No D is known in three different die marriages. Examples of the present die pair are the most highly sought by collectors. The reverse of this coin is sharp throughout. The obverse is typically softer with a couple of small abrasions in the upper right field. An otherwise distraction-free representative, each side exhibits a chocolate-brown appearance.
