1922 No D 1C Strong Reverse XF45 PCGS. Die Pair T
1922 No D<1C> Strong Reverse XF45 PCGS. Die Pair Two. Technically an error coin as the Philadelphia Mint was not commissioned to strike cents in 1922. However, No D cents, like the 1955 Doubled Die cents, have long been considered as a part of the regular series of Lincoln cents. Coins from Die Pair Two are the most desirable of the three die pairs known as they show no trace of the D, and the reverse is strongly struck. This is an attractive piece that has even brown patina and no reportable abrasions. An excellent example of this popular issue.
