1922 No D 1C Strong Reverse MS62 Red and Brown PCGS. The most popular variety of no-D cent is the one coined from Die Pair 2, which is the one that commands the highest price. This die pair possesses a brand-new reverse die with no wear, hence the "Strong Reverse" label. PCGS has seen only 13 Strong Reverse Red and Brown examples (6/07).
This MS62 Red and Brown specimen displays considerable mint orange intermixed with light tan patination. The obverse exhibits the typical low-relief, weakened design elements resulting from abrasive polishing of the die to remove clash marks, which in the process removed the mintmark. The reverse design features are sharp, as expected. A few minor handling marks are noted, especially on the obverse, but none are serious distractions. A couple of light, minute flecks are seen on the reverse.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
