1922 No D 1C Strong Reverse MS62 Brown PCGS. Die Pair 2, attributable by the second 2 in the date being as strong or stronger than the first. Unlike the other two No D die pairs, the strong reverse of this die pair has fully visible lines in the wheat stalks. The obverse is mushy, as is always the case on the 1922 No D cent, yet this piece is as well-struck as can be expected for this variety. This is a pleasing chocolate-brown uncirculated cent, with a bit of darker color visible on Lincoln's shoulder. A good deal of luster remains on the mostly smooth surfaces. A popular variety due to the Philadelphia Mint producing no cents in 1922.

Coin Engraver: Victor D.
