<B>1922 No D 1C Strong Reverse AU53 NGC.</B></I> FS-013.2. Die Pair 2. The 1922 Plain is a difficult coin to locate in this grade. Of course, the vast majority of pieces known are in low grades. A few (very few) are also known in mint condition. At each end of the grading spectrum, these coins are relatively easy to grade. However, a coin such as this has to be graded by how much luster remains. And in this case, there is a significant presence of original mint gloss around the devices on each side.
