1922<G$1> Grant with Star MS67 PCGS. The Grant gold dollar has essentially the same design (except for the denomination) as the half dollar. All 5,000 coins that were struck were eventually distributed, although most were wholesaled to dealers by B. Max Mehl. This is an extraordinarily well-preserved example whose primary focal point is the thick mint luster--the "life" of any coin. Both sides also are draped in rich reddish-golden hues that add even more to the superior eye appeal of this important coin.
