<B>1922 G$1 Grant no Star MS67 PCGS.</B></I> Bowers (1991) mentions that nearly all of the original mintage of Grant gold dollars (both with and without star) still exists. Despite the availability of Choice and even Gem examples, for the No Star variety, MS67 coins, such as the one in this lot, remain elusive. The strongly lustrous surfaces exhibit rich peach-gold and mint-green patination and are impeccably preserved. Sharp definition is noted on the design elements.
