1922 G$1 Grant no Star MS67 PCGS. David Bowers (1991) mentions that nearly all of the original mintage of Grant gold dollars (both with and without star) still exists. He says that: "Most coins grade in the MS62 to MS64 range, and MS65 coins are not difficult to find." For the No Star variety, MS67 coins, such as the one in this lot, are somewhat elusive. Highly lustrous surfaces exhibit rich peach-gold and mint-green patination, and are impeccably preserved. Sharp definition is noted on the design elements. Higher-grade specimens are virtually unobtainable. Housed in a green-label PCGS holder.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
