<B>1922-D 1C MS64 Red and Brown NGC.</B></I> Die Pair 3. Weak D, Weak Reverse. The first 2 in the date is sharper than the second, and TRUST is weak but sharper than IN GOD WE. The crucial mintmark is lightly visible under a high-powered loupe. NGC has certified this coin as a 1922-D Weak D, Weak Reverse cent, rather than the 1922 No D, Weak Reverse designation that it also uses. Much luster radiates from both sides, and considerable mint red is still in evidence, although of course both sides show the extreme die weakness that is characteristic of this issue.
