<B>1922 50C Grant with Star MS66 NGC.</B></I> Subtle lilac and gray toning is splashed with iridescent accents on this bold Premium Gem. Similar reverse toning has additional tiny gray speckles at the center. Reflective satin luster beneath the toning is created by extremely heavy die polish in the fields that give the variety its characteristic look.<BR> It proved to be a bonus when the issuing agency received these With Star half dollars. They requested a special mark on half of the 10,000 gold dollars. When the order arrived, they found to their delight that 5,000 gold dollars and 5,000 half dollars had the incuse star.
