Issued by Pro Government forces in Limerick. The first issue, published from the County Courthouse in Limerick is a single sheet printed one side, the following 9 issues are single sheet printed both sides and four pages thereafter. Vol. II No. 1, announcing the death of President Arthur Griffith, is a larger size - 11 by 8.5 inches - and succeeding issues are larger again - 14.5 by 10 inches.Content covers the occupation of buildings - including the New Barracks - in Limerick by the anti-Treaty forces, "The Irregulars" and the fighting in the city and county as well as national events. From Vol. II No. 5 the paper changes its name to Sgéala Catha (South Western Command War News). There is extensive coverage of the death of Michael Collins and his funeral, including some photographs.
