<B>1921-S 5C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> Another Buffalo issue that is notorious for planchet problems, toning streaks, die cracks, and flowlines in the metal, the 1921-S is seldom seen in high grade, problem-free condition. This piece is far above-average in that regard, in that its luster and overall surface quality are superlative. The surfaces have the quicksilver luster sometimes found on the S-mint issues from the teens and twenties, with silver-gold and lilac patination. While a few flowlines appear in the fields, there are no obvious planchet flaws, and only a couple of small toning spots are noted. The good strike has nicely delineated the major details on the buffalo. A nice near-Gem, worthy of a strong bid. <BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James E.
