<B>1921-S 50C MS60 Cleaned Uncertified.</B></I> A satiny and nearly unabraded representative of this famous conditional rarity. The 1921-S actually has a higher mintage than either the 1921 or 1921-D, but becomes the most difficult of the 1921-dated keys in VF and better grades. Few collectors set aside high grade examples, perhaps because of the hobby publicity given to the 1921 Pilgrim, Missouri, and Alabama halves as well as the new Peace dollar and re-introduced Morgan dollar.<BR>The present 1921-S half is slightly subdued by a chemical cleaning, but its light honey-gold toning is attractive, and the strike is good with the usual minor incompleteness on Liberty's face and waist.
