1921 S$1 Morgan Dollar--Double Struck in Collar--MS64 ANACS. VAM-3. This intriguing and rare error Morgan dollar was struck twice in the collar. Between the two strikings, the coin rotated a few degrees counterclockwise with bold separation between the first and second impressions. Both sides are frosty and lightly toned. Intricately struck, which suggests the collar did not restrain the spacing of the dies. This coin was featured in two Coin World articles, the first on page 83 of the April 22, 2002 issue and the second on page 110 of the April 29, 2002 issue.
From The Pacific Coast Mint Error Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
