<B>1921-D S$1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> This is a lightly toned and lustrous Superb Gem, with exceptionally clean surfaces. The strike is simply outstanding, virtually fully struck on the portrait and the eagle, with only a hint of weakness on a few of the leaves in the wreath. Those familiar with this issue know how fuzzy the wreath and central details often come on a 1921-D, and the quality of the strike cannot be overly emphasized. Although the issue was minted in vast numbers, only a handful of survivors can compete with the preservation and strike of the current example.
