This 1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar was minted at the Denver facility and is marked by the "D" mintmark beneath the wreath on the reverse. The obverse features the dignified visage of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap and floral coronet, encircled by the inscription E PLURIBUS UNUM, thirteen stars, and the date 1921. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with wings spread wide, holding arrows and an olive branch, framed by a laurel wreath and inscribed with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR. This issue is especially notable as the sole Denver struck with mintmark.
