Issued by the Denver Mint and distinguished by the "D" mintmark, this 1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar bears the time-honored obverse portrait of Liberty facing left, crowned with a band reading LIBERTY and framed by cotton bolls and wheat heads, with the encircling motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, thirteen stars, and the date 1921 below. The reverse presents a striking depiction of a bald eagle with spread wings, clutching arrows and an olive branch, surrounded by a laurel wreath and the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR. Enclosed in a cardboard holder. Holder measures: 2"L x 2"H. Coin diameter: 38.1 mm.
