1921-D 50C MS64 PCGS. An exuberant near-Gem of this illustrious and elusive key-date issue. Our nation's mints in 1921 were consumed with the production of millions upon millions of Morgan and Peace silver dollars, and consequently there was little emphasis on half dollar coinage. The thumb is fully split, the head is well articulated, and radiant luster bursts forth from the silver-gold surfaces on each side. A couple of trivial bagmarks are apparently all that separate this coin from a Gem grade, but the eye appeal is high-end. A splendid example, worthy of the finest collection. PCGS has certified only 33 coins finer, with an additional 23 specimens finer at NGC (4/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
