<B>1921-D 10C MS66 PCGS.</B></I> It is an ironic compliment to this issue's popularity that it is one of the few Mercury dime issues targeted by those who fraudulently alter coins. There is nothing questionable about this carefully preserved Premium Gem's eye appeal, however, because the luster is strong and the golden-brown patina at the lower obverse and upper reverse adds a delightful affect. The fasces are soft on the reverse, but this is a trifling criticism.
