<B>1921-D 10C MS65 Full Bands PCGS.</B></I> The 1921-D is one of the key dates to the Mercury dime series. The Full Bands Gem offered in this lot is untoned, and possesses beautiful satiny mint luster that exudes from near-pristine surfaces. Indeed, close inspection with a glass reveals no significant marks, just a hard-to see luster graze or two on the neck. The design features are well struck, though the tops of some of the letters along the right obverse border are a tad soft. David Lange (2005) notes that peripheral weakness is a "chronic problem" with this date.
