1921-D<10C> MS64 Full Bands PCGS. A well-defined piece overall, not only at the center, but at the periphery, where only ONE on the reverse shows any weakness. The surfaces are highly lustrous with minor specks of dark patina on each side. With the exception of the 1916-D, this issue and its Philadelphia Mint cousin have the lowest mintage among the regular issue coins in the series. Thus, the 1921-D has an enduring appeal to collectors in all grades, and it is especially prized in the better states of Uncirculated.
