<B>1921 50C Missouri MS66 NGC.</B></I> Robert Aitken became one of the first outside artists to design a commemorative coin, when his models appeared on the two varieties of the Panama-Pacific fifty dollar gold coin, and the first such repeat artist with his commission for the 1921 Missouri half. The pleasing Premium Gem presented here is a delightful representative of Aitken's work. The frosty surfaces display subtle hints of sky-blue and russet patina. Immensely appealing and one of the finest survivors known.
