<B>1921 50C Missouri MS65 PCGS.</B></I> While the traditional mintage figures for the 2x4 and "plain" varieties of the Missouri commemorative half list a net production of 15,428 pieces for the latter and only 5,000 examples for the former, most numismatic scholarship indicates that unimpaired examples appear on the market with roughly equal frequency. Soft, pleasing luster appears beneath warm russet and silver-blue patina on this attractive "plain" Missouri half.
