<B>1921 50C Missouri 2</B></I> S<B>4 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> Tied for the finest certified by either NGC or PCGS, this Premium Gem has frosty silver luster with brilliant silver surfaces and traces of pale lilac toning. It has remarkable eye appeal and sharp design features, with strong central obverse and reverse details. Unlike certain other commemoratives of the era, the Missouri Centennial half dollar was actually struck during the centennial year of statehood in 1921. For comparison, the Alabama Centennial half dollar was also struck in 1921, even though Alabama became a state in 1820.
