<B>1921 50C Missouri 2x4 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> There are several important items to report concerning this memorable example of the rare Missouri 2X4, a key issue in the 144-piece silver commemorative series. First is the strike, which is little short of amazing for the issue. This type is notoriously poorly produced, and striking weakness is almost always seen; but this Premium Gem displays remarkably full design details on each side. The lustrous surfaces show pale green patina surrounding the central obverse device, light rose color on the highpoints of the portrait itself, and rich russet-gold toning along the lower obverse periphery. The reverse has a pleasing mixture of ice-blue and dappled gold coloration. As implied by the grade, the coin is nearly blemish-free.
