<B>1921 50C Missouri 2x4 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The 2*4 on the Missouri Centennial half dollar signifies that Missouri was the 24th star on the flag. In a March 1, 2005 article in <I>Numismatic News</B></I>, however, staff writer Paul Green says: " ... the real reason was almost certainly sales, as those 5,000 were the first 5,000 made with the incuse addition." Delicate pastel ice-blue and lilac color rests on the highly lustrous surfaces of this MS65 specimen.
