<B>1921 50C Missouri 2x4 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The "plain" Missouri halves were the ones offered at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia, and the distributors offered the small production run of 5,000 2x4 pieces to speculators. Contemporary numismatists disapproved, though such tactics were merely a prelude to the abuses of the 1930s. Both sides of this Missouri 2x4 commemorative display attractive luster with a hint of satin. Cool lavender, heather, and peach patina graces the obverse, while the reverse has subtle gold and blue toning.
