1921 50C Missouri 2x4 MS65 PCGS. Although this coin was issued to commemorate the centennial of Missouri's admission into the Union in 1821, the portrait of Daniel Boone makes this commemorative half equally popular among collectors in Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Boone was an early American frontiersman and legendary hero who helped blaze a trail through the Cumberland Gap, a notch in the Appalachian Mountains near the juncture of those states. The incused 2*4 indicates that Missouri was the 14th state to join the Union. This silvery Gem piece offers light peripheral lilac and gold color, with superb eye appeal. PCGS has certified only 15 coins finer (12/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
