1921<50C> MS65 PCGS. Nearly a quarter-million pieces were struck of the 1921-P half. That is the second-lowest mintage in the entire series, but more high grade pieces seem to have been saved than of the 1921-D and S, which are much more expensive in Uncirculated condition. The sharp strike produces a fully split thumb on Liberty's branch hand, and good detailing on the head and the eagle. The surfaces are mostly brilliant, with occasional daubs of deep russet and blue-green around the peripheries. The satiny surfaces show no noticeable abrasions on either side. Population: 61 in 65, 3 finer (9/06).
