1921 50C MS64 NGC. The Pittman Act obligated the mint to strike vast quantities of silver dollars. This production came at the expense of other circulating denominations. The half dollar was especially affected. The combined mintage of the 1921, 1921-D, and 1921-S barely exceeded 1 million pieces. The 1921 mintage of 246,000 pieces is the second lowest of the type, behind only the 208,000 pieces struck at Denver. This lustrous and lightly toned near-Gem has a decent strike, since the thumb on the branch hand is distinct. Well preserved aside from a few faint grazes on the right obverse field. One of the keys to the series, and seldom seen in such quality.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
