1921 25C MS66 Full Head PCGS. Quarter dollars were only coined at Philadelphia during the year, and today they are elusive in all grades, especially in Gem quality. This piece is one of the finest existing examples from a mintage that approached 2 million coins. The surfaces are highly lustrous with fully brilliant mint frost. All of the design features on both sides are sharply detailed, including full head and shield definition. Few examples of this date have survived in Gem grade, about 10% of the total surviving population according to J.H. Cline. Population: 18 in 66 Full Head, 1 finer (2/07).
From The Encinitas Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
