1921 25C MS65 Full Head PCGS. Nearly 2 million pieces were struck of this tough-date quarter. J.H. Cline (2007) speculates that: "There seem to be two types for this date and mintmark. Type I: struck before die modification. Most of these are weak overall. Type II: Outstanding. Full, sharp heads with sharp full lines in the shield. These coins are deeply struck ... . They nearly always have sharp lines in the gown, olive branch leaves, and berries with sharp shield lines, both vertical and horizontal." This Full Head Gem example is Type Two, displaying as it does excellent design delineation. Potent luster embraces both sides, and well preserved surfaces reveal traces of light tan-gold color. A simply marvelous Standing Liberty quarter. Population: 43 in 65 full Head, 19 finer (5/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
